Summer Dodgeball Registration
Hey BARS Family!
This summer, we are offering new nights of dodgeball at new locations! Also get ready for our first ever Women, Trans, & Non-Binary Division! And the return of open play! See below for all the summer offerings!
Whether you're a seasoned dodgeball pro or just starting out, our leagues are the perfect place to let loose, play a fun sport, and have a great time in a social, supportive environment!

SUNDAY: 8.5 (Big Ball) Dodgeball
We’re switching days of the weekend this summer!
SUNDAY LEAGUE DETAILS:
· Dates: July 9 – August 20 (7 weeks of matches)
· Time: 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm
· Where: Village Community School (Lower Gym); 272 W 10th St, New York
· Price: $100
· Notes: Eligible Spring 2023 Big Ball (8.5) dodgeball players will be allowed to apply their vet status to Sunday. Dates, times, and locations are subject to change due to weather, court, or venue availability.

· Pre-Registration for Women, Trans & Non-Binary players: Wednesday, June 14 @ 6pm (until 5pm on Thursday, June 15)
· Veteran Registration: Thursday, June 15 @ 6pm (until 5pm on Friday, June 16)
· Open Registration begins at 6pm on Friday, June 16!

MONDAY: Small Ball Dodgeball
We’re moving small ball to a weekday!
MONDAY LEAGUE DETAILS:
· Dates: July 10 – August 21 (7 weeks of matches)
· Time: 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
· Where: Village Community School (Upper Gym); 272 W 10th St, New York
· Price: $100
· Notes: Eligible Spring 2023 Small Ball (formerly No-Sting) players will be allowed to apply their vet status to either Monday or Tuesday. Dates, times, and locations are subject to change due to weather, court, or venue availability.

TUESDAY: Small Ball Dodgeball
A second weeknight of small ball?! And there’s more! In addition to our regular Open Division, we’re also creating a Women, Trans, & Non-Binary Division on Tuesday nights (there will be two separate options at registration to choose from).
TUESDAY LEAGUE DETAILS:
· Dates: July 11 – August 29 (8 weeks of matches)
· Time: 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm
· Where: John Jay College of Criminal Justice (Haaren Hall, 4th Floor), 524 West 59th Street, New York
· Price: $100
· Notes: Eligible Spring 2023 Small Ball (formerly No-Sting) players will be allowed to apply their vet status to either Monday or Tuesday. Dates, times, and locations are subject to change due to weather, court, or venue availability. In addition, John Jay requires a valid form of ID to enter the venue.
TUESDAY LEAGUE REGISTRATION INFO:
· Pre-Registration for Women, Trans & Non-Binary players (both divisions): Monday, June 12 @ 6pm
o The WTNB Division registration link will stay active until the league is at capacity.
o The Open Division registration link for WTNB players will be active until 5pm on Tuesday, June 13
· Veteran Registration (both divisions): Tuesday, June 13 @ 6pm (until 5pm on Wednesday, June 14)
· Open Registration (Open Division) begins at 6pm on Wednesday, June 14!

THURSDAY: Open Play (Small Ball)
In addition to our regular seasons of dodgeball, we’re bringing back open play on Thursday’s this summer!
Our open plays are open and accessible to everyone! From a seasoned dodgeball pro to a person wanting to try dodgeball out before committing to a full season, this is a great opportunity to hone your skills, have some fun, and meet folks in our league!
THURSDAY OPEN PLAY DETAILS:
· Dates: July 13 – August 31 (except July 27)
· Time: 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm
· Where: John Jay College of Criminal Justice (Haaren Hall, 4th Floor), 524 West 59th Street, New York
· Notes: John Jay requires a valid form of ID to enter the venue.
THURSDAY OPEN PLAY REGISTRATION INFO:
· Even if you’re a summer BARS dodgeball player, everyone must register before each night of open play.
· There is a limited number of spots each week, so entry is first-come, first-served. The sign-up list will become active one week before each open play.
