Fall 2023 Kickball Registration
Hey BARS Family!
This fall, we’re expanding kickball to brand new locations! We also have the return of our Tuesday league at (the newly-renovated) Chelsea Park and our Women, Trans, & Non-Binary Division on Saturdays! See below for all the summer offerings!
With so many days of kickball, there is a league for everyone! Whether you’re a seasoned pro and want something more competitive (one of the weekday leagues) or something more social and low-key (one of the weekend leagues), we have you covered!

TUESDAY LEAGUE
RANDOMIZED, COMPETITIVE TEAMS
After a few seasons off due to field renovations, we’re more excited than ever to return to Chelsea Park!
TUESDAY LEAGUE DETAILS:
Dates: September 12 – November 14
Time: 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm (45 minute games)
Where: Chelsea Park; West 27th Street & 9th Ave
Price: $100
Notes: Vet Status will be determined from Fall 2022 attendance; all who are eligible will receive an email with instructions for the Fall 2023 season. Dates, times, and locations are subject to change due to weather, court, or venue availability.
TUESDAY LEAGUE REGISTRATION INFO:
We are actively finalizing our field permitting with NY Parks & Recreation, so we’re not yet ready to take y’all’s money (though we wanted everyone to have the Tuesday league’s dates for planning purposes).
Because we don’t want to plan registration until the ink is dry on the permits, we’ll be sending out an email in the next 2 weeks with a more concrete registration timeline! Stay tuned!

WEDNESDAY LEAGUE
COMPETITIVE, DRAFT TEAMS
We’re moving locations on Wednesdays and playing kickball by the Hudson River! You don’t want to miss this!
** If you are interested in being a Team Captain for our Wednesday league, you can submit your interest through this form. Please complete the form by 8pm on Wednesday, August 30. **

Time: 8:30 pm – 11:00 pm (40 minute games)
Where: Chelsea Waterside Park; 557 W 23rd St

Veteran Registration: Tuesday, September 5 @ 6pm (until 5pm on Wednesday, September 6)
Open Registration begins at 6pm on Wednesday, September 6!

SATURDAY LEAGUE
SOCIAL, RANDOMIZED TEAMS
A weekend stalwart returns! In addition to the General Co-Ed Division, we have our hugely-popular Women, Trans, & Non-Binary (WTNB) Division on Saturdays. Both divisions are open to all players of all genders. The WTNB Division centers traditionally underrepresented genders in BARS and is socially sapphic. The Open Division socializes at gay bars that typically cater to and are populated by men.

Time: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (35 minute games)

Interested with playing with a friend? Add each other’s names when you register, and we’ll pair you together! This is a great way of entering a new season with at least one person you already know!
