We are so excited to bring another round of amazing Kickball offerings to you this Fall. Below you will find all of the registration dates, so you can start planning! Before that you can read about some news surrounding financial assistance, vet status, and league descriptions.

In an effort to make our leagues more accessible and equitable for our players, we have multiple options for financial assistance: payment plans (for those wanting to pay over time) and discounted registration (for reduced league costs) are both available. Both options are outlined during the check-out process via Shopify registration. You can email executive-board@bigapplerecsports.com for more information.

For Vet Status, you will access Vet registration via the website at checkout. You will have to give your email address that you used during the Summer league, and it will let you checkout during Vet Registration if you earned Vet Status from the Summer. If your league is not being provided in the Fall (Monday Open, or Draft Open), your vet status will carry to the Spring. Draft Open has the ability to use their vet status toward Tuesday Open this Fall. If you use your vet status here, it will not be applicable in the Fall, unless you earn vet status during the Fall season.

And as a reminder, teams for our Open Leagues are available to players of all genders. Our WTNB+ Leagues are available for our Women, Trans, Non-Binary (WTNB+) community.

Our Social leagues are geared towards people who are just looking to meet new people, build community, and have fun socially while playing kickball. Our Advanced leagues, while still focusing on the social aspects and building a community, are geared towards people who are looking to either improve their skills at kickball, or play with people who have a more advance skill level or understanding of the game. If you have never played before (or never played in an Advanced league), don’t be afraid about signing up. However do note, the Fall Advanced league will skew on the more competitive side, as there is only one this fall and they will be using Travel Tournament Rules.

Unfortunately due to permitting and Kickball not being a “priority sport” for NYC parks in the Fall, our permits are more limited than what we have in the Spring/Summer. With that being said, there are still plenty of options to join Kickball this fall and to have the best time with your friends!

Special Note: On Tuesdays, we will be using Travel Tournament Rules during this season. This means more advanced pitching rules, and slightly altered gameplay rules that create a more advanced/competitive game. An updated rulebook will be sent out to Tuesday players prior to the season.
